meet Baileya White

Artist Bio

Growing up in Southern Arizona, Baileya learned to appreciate the hidden beauty of the Sonoran Desert very early in life. Every summer however, she spent a few weeks away in Buena Vista, CO where she found herself drawn to a different kind of extreme: the Rocky Mountains. Following this calling, she attended Regis University in Denver, CO where she obtained a B.A. in visual arts and minors in both English and environmental studies.

Baileya is often found outside, which is where she finds most of her inspiration as an artist. By combining her passion and knowledge in both literature and environmental science as well as her own personal experiences enjoying the natural world, she hopes to create art that emphasizes the complex beauty of nature. Further, she aims to reestablish human connection to our world and the environmental systems that we are very much a part of as our society hurdles further in to the Anthropocene Epoch.
